League Of Legends: Sign up today!

At Dreamhack Summer 2012, 16-19th of June, DreamHack will host the MSI Beat IT League of Legends Tournament sponsored by MSI and SteelSeries, with 280 000 SEK in the prize purse (equivalent to $40,000). All League of Legends-fans are sure to remember last year when RIOT hosted the Season 1 Championship Finals at DreamHack Summer 2011. Now, one year later, we’re very excited to present DreamHacks first big tournament in League of Legends hosted by DreamHack and sponsored by two of our long term partners MSI and SteelSeries.

MSI Beat IT League of Legends Tournament will have a main tournament with 8 teams, where 4 teams will qualify through Online Qualifiers and 4 teams will qualify through the on-site BYOC-qualifier. The Grand Final will be played in DreamArena Extreme in front of 1100 fans in the audience. The total prize purse will be $40,000.

All matches will be broadcasted in free HD (720p) at DreamHack.TV through our streaming partner Twitch.TV. Our official casting duo will be Joe Miller and Deman, two of the world’s best League of Legends casters out there.

Important information #1: All teams participating in the BYOC-qualifier need to have a Computer ticket at DreamHack Summer 2012 (buy at http://bokning.dreamhack.se) to be able to compete in the tournament. All matches is played on your own PC.

Important information #2: All team captains need to confirm their participation at DreamHack Summer 2012 Game Info desk before 16.00 on Saturday 16th of June. Only teams that have done the on-site confirmation will be able to compete in the BYOC-tournament.
