DreamHack presents DreamHack Stockholm – in Ericsson Globe

DreamHack and Telia are proud to present DreamHack Stockholm 26-27 September 2014. DreamHack Stockholm will feature five main activities: World class eSports – live on Stage, DreamExpo – Stockholm’s best Gaming & Tech Expo, Key-note speakers, Scandinavia’s biggest Hackathon & Stockholm eSports & Game Congress.

DreamHack Stockholm will be held within the Globe Arenas, with the majority of activities held in both Ericsson Globe and Annexet. Ericsson Globe is the national arena for indoor-sports and have a seating capacity of 13 000 seats.

DreamHack to reach 70,000 visitors in Sweden by 2015

In 2013 DreamHack attracted 41 171 visitors to the two festivals DreamHack Summer and DreamHack Winter in Jönköping, Sweden. Now it’s time for DreamHack to establish a third annual event in Sweden, as part of DreamHack’s 2-year plan to reach 70 000 visitors in Sweden. The goal with DreamHack Stockholm is to create a new gaming event in the Capital of Scandinavia to show-case Sweden as the leading eSports nation in Europe and create a hub for the Swedish Game Industry in Stockholm.
– We already have a vision to make Stockholm the eSports capital of the world, and combining that with the sensational Swedish game industry is a perfect match in our opinion. DreamHack is already known as the world’s largest computer festival and one of the top organizers in eSports worldwide, and creating an event where we combine all that feels like a natural step, said Robert Ohlén, CEO of DreamHack

The natural meeting point for Swedish gamers

DreamHack Stockholm will gather world class eSports and the sensational Swedish Game Industry in one event, where lectures, congress and hackathons will be a natural part of the event. In addition to this, DreamHack will invite international Keynote Speakers to hold presentations live on-stage and make DreamHack Stockholm the most important B2B-event in the Swedish Game Industry today.
