DreamHack arranges a lot of Esport tournaments for all audiences ranging from casual and fun to real hard core attracting professional players. All major genres like Team FPS, Duel FPS, Racing, Fighting, Sports and strategic games are featured at DreamHack festivals at some level. Many of the tournaments are open for everybody and often starts in the BYOC area then moves on to a tournament area. The final for the main games is played in front of thousand of people on dedicated esport arenas, the main stage or DreamArena Extreme.


Launched in 2012, DreamHack Open is DreamHack’s premiere esports circuit featuring 7 live LAN tour stops across Europe. The official titles featured in DreamHack Open are Counter Strike: Global Offensive and StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm. DreamHack Open is supported by EIZO, Monster Energy, Razer, HyperX and Intel and boosts a prize pool of over $350,000 across both games. All tour stops are open for both amateur and professional players alike, and the best matches are broadcast in HD for free.

DreamHack, the world’s largest digital festival, has partnered with FACEIT, the leading platform for competitive online gaming, to host this year’s FACEIT CS:GO League Season Finale at DreamHack Open Winter, which takes place on November 26-28 in Jönköping, Sweden. Top teams from around the globe will compete for their chance to be crowned champion of this year’s FACEIT CS:GO league and DreamHack Open circuit to claim a piece of the grand prize of $250,000 USD.



DreamHack Winter 2015 is quickly approaching! The world’s largest digital festival will be heading back to Jönköping, Sweden from November 26th-29th, 2015. Today, DreamHack is extremely excited and honoured to announce the DreamHack Winter 2015 Legacy of the Void Championship, featuring 24 competitors fighting for a share of $50,000 in prize money.

The epic conclusion to the StarCraft II trilogy will be officially released on November 10th—just after BlizzCon 2015—and we’re super excited to be hosting one of the first major Legacy of the Void tournaments. In a shift from the typical DreamHack Open tournament format, DreamHack Winter will feature 24 competitors, who’ll qualify through a combination of regional-based qualifiers, and wild card invitations. The winner will take home a massive $20,000 prize cheque, as well as earning bragging rights as one of the first big Legacy of the Void tournament champions!

DreamHack is excited to announce that Hearthstone will be returning to Jönköping, Sweden for DreamHack Winter 2015 and the second instalment of the Hearthstone Grand Prix series!

This year’s tournament will once again feature an open, non-elimination Swiss format system followed by an elimination stage. Each game of the playoffs will be played on stage and each player will be equipped with their own tournament PC and a practice area in order to ensure that they can perform to the best of their ability.

Super Smash Bros. Melee has been one of the most requested eSports tournaments at DreamHack events during the last few years. Now we are super excited to announce that during the fall and winter season 2015 we will bring Smash to two different DreamHack events and feature total of $50,000 in prizes. The DreamHack tournaments in Super Smash Bros. Melee will kick off in London during DreamHack London in Copper Box arena 19-20th September 2015 where we will have an open singles tournament with a whooping $20,000 prize pool. We’ll continue at DreamHack Winter 2015 26-29th November 2015 at Elmia in Jönköping Sweden with both Singles & doubles tournaments, with a total of $30,000 up for grabs..

Heroes of the Storm

We’re proud to announce that Heroes of the Storm will be back at DreamHack with our largest tournament yet. DreamHack All-Stars: Winter Clash will feature eight of the best teams from around the world competing for a prize pool of $25,000!

DreamHack All-Stars has previously featured two Heroes of the Storm tournaments at DreamHack Summer and DreamHack Valencia, where Team Liquid dominated with back-to-back titles. Now we’re excited to level things up with more teams, a bigger prize pool and an extended format for our best show yet at DreamHack Winter!
